Welcome! its funny you ask that question. I think I saw a fuse in the fuse box on my FTR that says "Heated Grips". That usually means that the bike is already wired for heated grips. I have looked every ware on line an heard no mentioned heated grips as an option. Maybe thy just left a spot to hook after market grips to?

I fitted Koso Apollo heated grips to help me through the winter here in NZ. The nice thing about these grips is the heat controller is part of the LH grip, so no ugly separate controller to spoil the handlebars or top yoke.

There is dedicated power available on the FTR1200, I found mine taped to the cable bunch going into the headlight. I had to remove the headlight and shroud before it became visible.
