Where did you ride your FTR today?

Hey Saedlter - I see a V-Star peaking around your FTR at Gilks’ Cafe. My son in law Matt recently came into possession of a non running 2000 V-Star Classic. We have been working on it for a couple of weeks. He finally got it done yesterday and we took it for PA State inspection. (Carb rebuild, tank clean out, replaced aftermarket fish tails with a stock exhaust then we drilled out baffles, new brake pads and bleed, new battery, new LED headlight, sorted some electrical issues, new tires and balance. He now has about $600.00 into it. It now rides and runs great! (Pictures below are first start after the carb rebuild and tank clean out and after LED headlight.) I’ll try to take a picture of the finished product today.

Yes, well spotted, a 125cc version!
I got chatting to the lady owner, must have been in her late 50’s, been riding since she was 12 but doesn’t have a full licence. In the UK that limits you to a 125cc and you have to retake you Compulsory Basic Training every 2 years and have to display L plates, but that doesn’t stop her. Was on the way to completing 200 miles that day! Fair play to her...

My girl and I did a nice 700 km trip this weekend to southern Switzerland. From 8 ° Celsius in the mountains to 24 ° in the south, the conditions where absolutely brilliant. To my surprise, there was little to no traffic. Can't wait untill the mountain passes are open again.
We made a stop at the legendary "007" dam 😋

Did about 300 miles yesterday. Stopped in a small town that basically had nothing but this little bar and grill. Got some extremely healthy food.

Then returned home to find, for the second time, my license plate light is broken.

I guess now the light’s in a somewhat precarious position, but the first time this exact thing happened, the bike was still completely stock. Time to hop on Amazon and get some cheap bolt lights.

Also, my Aria pro shade arrived today! Pretty excited as I wear glasses and am too cheap to get prescription sunglasses.

PVD is the great! You were likely at either the Cadillac Lounge or the Foxy Lady... lots of talent at these establishments :)
Well, it was 1989, I was on active duty at Fort Devens back when 10th Group/Intel School was there. By now, most of the dancers from that visit probably put their teeth in every morning.
