    Heated Gear

But you are still tethered to the motorcycle. Sooner or later you will forget and find out the hard way. Much better to have a small battery in your pocket just for the gloves, and avoid getting them wrenched off. YMMV.

Do most folks replace the stock mirrors?

My choice of rear-view mirrors are Aprilia mirrors, as fitted to Aprilia Pegaso/Shiver/Mana/Tuono and of course Moto Guzzi. AP8104921 (RH) & AP8104922 (LH)

Anyone have a link to a service manual

I can send you a service manual for a 2019 manual. I'll need an email address. But why do you need a wiring diagram? Simply wire your LED strip lights in parallel with the brake lights.

Crossing Australia on an electric bike

I rode around Victoria on a carburetted Triumph 650 just before the Covid-19 lockdown. I got as far west as Port Lincoln before deciding to start heading back east. I had already ran out of petrol once, and didn't want to do it again. What I discovered is that I couldn't rely on Google Maps...

    Wunderkind Custom bits and pieces

The guard is there for a couple of reasons. The first is to protect you in case the chain breaks, and wants to wrap itself around your legs. The second is to keep grease and oil being flung on you. Both are important, IMHO.
