I’d be worried about scuffing against the radiator right where the ziptie is (unless of course, there’s a small rubber pad between them).

It just touches the metal that crimps on the tank. Mine doesn’t budge, I was worried when I seen the zip ties but I promise you it holds it well. In a couple years when it goes through it’s heat cycles and the zip ties get brittle may be another story.
No matter how sturdy I thought it was with the zip ties though, i wouldn’t want near the core of the radiator. Would be too worried it would vibrate and rub a hole in the core eventually, I think the gap is necessary.
