Did have a look about. The only spares advertised on the Akrapovik site are the springs. You could consider sourcing some 12mm grommets with a larger cap perhaps, then swapping out all four to keep uniformity?

I'm tempted to buy the high mount they have at my local dealer since it's 50% off and I like the look of the high mount and the titanium header. With the 50% off along will the header the cost is about the same as the Toce low mount

Yes it's by far the better way to do it, and they even sell the exact replacement rivets
Thanks, I actually already have matching rivets so even better. I’m getting the V6 tune from Ryan and deleting the cat so I figured I would just go ahead and remove the baffles.

I'm buying the high mount full kit, if anyone might want some poorly drilled out akra's I'll be posting them after I pick up the new exhaust

Took my akrapovic to a mechanic for baffle removal,,,, showed him the video instruction on removing it by drilling a hole from the side to remove the bolt.......

He suggested to remove the rivets instead and replace them when he's done with it. turns out the inner tube is also welded to the exhaust cap! so he had to remove the welding to detach it from the exhaust cap.....

I told him its also best if he can realign the bolt to point it towards the rubber plug opening (where I think its originally meant to be).

I'm quite happy with the work done on it, and I'm quite glad I didnt do it myself by just following the youtube clip as even the baffle bolt was welded to the exhaust!

The pics show the welded cap and baffle, and after he removed the welding and the final result with new rivets.... now I should be able to replace the baffles back in if I wanted to....

I was going to do the de-baffle myself on the 2022 FTR Carbon after watching the Aaron Colton vid.
I'm reasonably OK and comfortable on the tools but certainly no mechanic.
When I took delivery I thought, ah sod it - have them remove them for me so when I pick it up it's ready to go and I can just enjoy day 1 and ride.
Glad I did - the 2022 Akrapovic are now also spot welded in place as well as the fastener being at 8 O'clock.
Better to let the dealer take the risk on damaging a new bike rather than me (they didn't all went well).

I can tell you paying dealers won't make them magically become good at drilling nice and neat holes in your exhaust caps. Here's the horrible job I got from my dealer workshop and their explanation: "Sir I already explained you before that when you give me the approval for this , it will not be 100% perfect hole on there , that's why to cover this one we are fixing the rubber damper on it to make it looks better , it's an tricky work as you know it's not an easy work".

Drilling a hole is "an tricky work as you know it's not an easy work" indeed.
