Where did you ride your FTR today?

Mustangjonny84 - How do you like your Bridgestone Battlax tires? (I run the same) I find I can be much more aggressive entering corners than on the stock tires. The front turns in and bites well. It just hooks up better than the DTRs.
We hit a balmy 48*F today in Pittsburgh. I rode 50-60 miles but am ashamed to admit the FTR stayed in the garage. My Vintage with the Lexan windshield makes all the difference. My brother-in-law also goes by Mustang Jonny. Here is his perfect 67’....and my sister drives a fully restored 1984 5L Fox Body convertible. White leather interior is sweet!
I'm digging the Bridgestones so far. Same on the turns, a day in the canyons breeds much less pucker factor.

Sunrise to sunset today, 600 km or so up to Yalakom Provincial Park, incredible corner of the mountains that I rode for the first time last summer. With snow in the forecast for the foreseeable future I figured I better get up there today, may be my last chance this year.

Great photos, made me shiver just looking at them, especially the fuel stop one!

Was pretty nasty lol. When I hopped off the bike to fuel up I caught a glimpse of my jacket in the mirrors and realized that it too was coated in a layer of frost.

Admittedly I do get some sick satisfaction out of competing with the weather and finding cheap ways to stay warm. I don't use any heated gear. 2 Stanfield onesies, sweatpants, jeans, wool sweater, thick polyester jacket, leather jacket, insulated 8 inch leather steel toes, and insulated hiking mittens with HotHands. Everything second hand. Besides the boots my entire winter suit is worth maybe $200 and it works great down to 0 C ambient temp.

Added a new vehicle to my stable. I will probably be taking it out for a ride around the driveway around 6:00 pm tonight. (Pittsburgh expecting 7-9 inches today) Ferraiolo1 might get up to 24inches in central Pennsylvania. He might not ride again until May! 6C7AD3E7-8C85-4F69-AE82-53E6DDA38693.jpeg

Helge - No photos - But believe me it got plenty of action this morning. Performance specs are meager. Although it features 6 speeds forward and 2 in reverse with 8 hp, top speed is only 3.5mph! Lean angle is zero and ground clearance is 3/8 inch. Not nearly as much fun as an FTR!868E70BB-CA0B-48D8-9F47-53F51FFCF351.jpeg

I love snow but we don't get it anywhere near as often or as plentiful as we once did. Also with a thick blanket of it such as Mark has it makes my garden look as neat and tidy as everyone else's.
