Thank you Captain Obvious; I had no idea that metal isn't the same as wood. Thank God I have people like you to point that out.

First day on the internet, huh?

Maybe think about what you are going to post before you post it?

I'm sure you make friends really easy with that attitude and never get punched in the mouth.

My friends don't make the kind of smartass comment you did to my post, you got what you deserved; maybe it's your first day on the internet?

If you can't take it, don't dish it out.

You also might think twice about thinly-veiled threats to people before you post.

I made no threats, just asked a question about how you live your life. I assume that you aren't Tommy tough nuts away from the keyboard. I don't go looking for fights, like you seem to, but i can handle myself if its necessary.

You see, i and no one else on this board can read your mind, so when you post something that's blantantly wrong you should get called out for it, no matter what your intention was.

I'm not tommy toughnuts on the keyboard either, you're the one that brought up violence. I just prefer not to be patronized, and will respond if I am.

My only point was that it is a lot easier to go slowly then rush it and go too far and turn a fifteen minute mod into a couple hour mod-gone-bad repair. Saying "metal isn't wood" seems to show you do not understand written subtlety.

BTW, note that you are the only one of everyone on the board that can't read my mind that had to "correct" me; everyone else understood my point.

Do either one of us really need this to continue?

I finally figured out your username, it applies to your political preference, right? You certainly seem to embody the worst of stereotypical traits.

Written subtlety? Kinda like you not understanding sarcasm? Or that you have friends that don't bust your balls one in awhile? Sounds like a horrible way to live one's life.

It's a stupid plan to increase the "lean" and most just ignored it as such. Cutting out a worthwhile chunk of sidestand, that will actually make a difference, grinding off the paint and laying about 3 inches bead to reattach the foot, then spray bombing it is literally a 10 min job. If you can weld. Those who can't weld, or won't seek help, will rave about a bike sitting at 77 degrees instead of 79 because they spent an hour with a grinder butchering the stock stand and feel better about it, when in reality no worthwhile change has taken place; likely all you've done is weaken the stand that holds up your 500lb bike.

Whatever works for ya!

Are you 12?

12? I wish! Hmm, that might be weird for the folks who work for/ with me, not to mention my wife or my 13 yr old son. My knees and back would certainly hurt less, though.

Maybe 12 going on 40.

The plan is to die young, as late as possible.

Maybe other folks seek your validation, on the internet or in real life, but that ain't me, fella (or babe, don't want to assume your pronoun).

Mike, At least use appropriate language in your replies and scale them down a bit. This is a public forum. Thanks

My bad, next time I'll make sure the four letter adjectives i use are contained in a screen shot.

That's sarcasm.

Public forum...lots of children with FTRs.

I'd appreciate you deleting all the NSFW posts elsewhere in this section. Public forum and all.

Here are some pictures you guys of the initial fit up. I am representing Lumir here in the states. We are trying to lighten up everything especially the sprocket and Rotor Adapters. The spockets can be had from Driven, Superlight, AFAM, and Renthal. They have a 5 bolt pattern the same as BST, OZ, etc. There were manufacturing headaches, waiting on anodizing and perfecting the clear coat process. Plus the new wheel is lighter and stronger. I dont want to make excuses and I have spoken to Lumir about people waiting. I've included some pictures of the first fit up. It went perfectly without issue. I have them on my bike in high gloss black and they are beautiful. If you have any questions or you have problems let me know and I will address Lumir.
